We’ve spent the better part of the last month attempting to project the vast majority of the 2013 Toronto Blue Jays roster. While the process is wrought with uncertainty, we can be sure of one thing: come October, we will look back at these predictions and a handful of them will in no way resemble the season that actually transpired. A year ago, I can’t imagine that anyone would have anticipated that Ricky Romero’s ERA and Edwin Encarnacion’s home run total would both double their respective marks of the year prior. Such is the way of predictions.

That said, we’ve enjoyed profiling each player. It’s forced us to peak under the hood and get a better understanding of each player’s underlying skills. Hopefully, our readers have similarly enjoyed the process.

Despite writing each player’s profile and projections independently, we more often than not found ourselves more or less agreeing with one another. It may not have made for the most interesting debate, but there’s something to be said for seeing eye-to-eye with one’s partner.
