Blue Jays Way & Left Field Brewery Present Thirst Base Thursdays

We are pleased to announce the details of the first official Blue Jays Way event. Thirst Base Thursdays will kick off on April 25th at 7pm at the Riverside Public House in Toronto. We are honoured to co-present the night with Left Field Brewery, fine purveyors of the city’s only baseball-themed craft beer.

The event will centre around a live broadcast of the Blue Jays game against the divisional rival New York Yankees, projected on the big screen in the event space of the venue. Complementing the game will be Left Field Brewery’s Maris* American Pale Ale on tap, and ballpark-inspired menu items created specifically for the night by chef Dustin Gallagher. Gallagher is a former Top Chef Canada semi-finalist who has previously worked at Grace and was sous chef to Susur Lee.

In addition, we’ll have Blue Jays trivia throughout the night with prizes for the winners to go along with some great swag from the folks at Left Field Brewery.

Our goal is to make Thirst Base Thursdays a destination for fans to gather to enjoy the game. We’re especially proud to host the events at the Riverside Public House in Toronto’s burgeoning east end neighbourhood. If all goes well, we’ll look to repeat the events monthly on nights the Blue Jays are playing on the road.

We hope you will join us for what should be a great night of Blue Jays baseball, craft beer, delicious food and most of all, good company.

Love this idea. It’s even worth coming from Hamilton. Won’t be there this week, but will make it soon.
